Assassins Creed Nexus VR finally comes to Meta Quest

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR finally comes to Meta Quest – tune in

The virtual reality version of Assassin’s Creed explores both the technology and world of Ubisoft’s popular game.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR appears on the Meta platform and is compatible with the Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets. The retail price of $40 is typical of games sold on these platforms, but Ubisoft didn’t skimp: just following the central plot of the game gives us a good fifteen hours.

The action of the game takes place in three completely different environments: Venice during the Renaissance, America during the Conquest and the Ancient Strike. Each time we adopt the characteristics of a different hero from the long line of assassins that have been the focus of the various console games of this franchise published by Ubisoft over the years.

The first steps may seem a bit slow, but you have to put in the effort to fully understand all the gestures and actions you can perform in this game. Because Ubisoft has gone a little further than the basic gestures found in several other games of the genre. You can draw your sword, draw your bow, throw daggers and bring out a hidden blade in your sleeve to defeat your enemies.

AC Nexus VR is an action game, but as assassin tradition dictates, it has some tricks to offer. You have to know how to be subtle and discreet from time to time.

It is also advisable to be curious: the open worlds that Ubisoft immerses us in in its new work deserve to be visited in full. There are several small quests that have little to do with the main scenario, but make the player more experienced, which makes it possible to complete the entire game with more pleasure.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR is currently exclusive to the Meta platform. Luckily, you don’t need a $650 Quest 3 to play, but the images look particularly good on this headset’s improved display. However, the game was designed to run well on Quest 2. And maybe one day it will be available for sale on other VR platforms too. However, if you’re looking for a Christmas present for a die-hard Assassin’s Creed player, look no further…
