During the first few seasons of Smallville: Adventures of Superboy, the character Lana Lang became known as Clark Kent’s great love. She was Superboy’s neighbor and always appeared next to a popular boy in high school, which made Clark very sad as they used to not give Lana the value she deserved.
Out of fear, inexperience, and also protection, Martha and Jonathan Kent’s heir was starting to get really serious with the cheerleader. The character was played by Kristin Kreuk, also known for her work in The Weight of Truth, Beauty and the Beast, and Reacher. Many must have noticed that the star doesn’t usually post a lot of pictures of herself on social media.
At the age of 40, Kreuk appeared in a post on his official profile earlier this year and explained why he doesn’t post many pictures of himself on the internet. According to the star, she never liked taking pictures of herself.
“I don’t like being photographed. Ask every friend I’ve ever had. Because of my work, I feel able to do photo shoots efficiently and with minimal fuss. However, I haven’t had commissioned photos done since I was 18,” the actress explained.
Following this, Kristin said that she still learned that appearing in images that reflect her is important as a form of selfacceptance.

“I now realize that part of the challenge in the selfacceptance process is that I have to look at all these images of myself and struggle not to be overly critical. But part of the reason it’s great is because there’s a much better chance of getting photos that reflect more about me,” the star explained.
