At least 25 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) — At least 25 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza City today, medical sources and local witnesses said.

Medical sources told Xinhua that 15 people, including children, were killed and several others injured after warplanes attacked a residential building in the Zaytoun district of southern Gaza City.

According to local sources and witnesses, the warplanes fired a missile at the three-story building without warning.

Israel's state-run news channel Kan TV noted that the Israeli army has been conducting operations in the neighborhood since February 20, targeting infrastructure belonging to the Hamas movement.

On the same day, ten Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the coastal road west of Gaza City.

Local sources and witnesses said Israeli forces fired artillery shells and carried out airstrikes against people waiting for aid trucks, killing 10 people and injuring some.
