A 19-year-old man with a penchant for those with a sweet tooth was charged with assault on Friday after he began indiscriminately attacking customers and employees at a Minnesota restaurant with … skittles.

On Friday, 19-year-old Tristan Stetina reportedly broke into a restaurant and “started throwing skittles at employees and customers,” according to police documents obtained by the New York Post on Tuesday.

American media reported that one of the victims felt a “stabbing pain in his back” after receiving one of the projectiles.

The young attacker, who has a tattoo on his face, was reportedly quickly arrested – not without a struggle – outside the facility after leaving a trail of rainbow candies “all over the floor,” according to notes in the report of an officer at the Ministry of Public Security in mankato

“While the officers handcuffed Stetina, he walked away and tried to evade the officers’ scrutiny. Stetina then wrapped her leg around Officer Gilbertson to trip him,” authorities also said, according to the New York Post.

According to the English-speaking media, the young perpetrator, who has been accused of assault and resisting arrest on several occasions, faces up to a year in prison.
