UPDATED 03/03: Good news, Attack on Titan fans outside of Japan, the first episode of The Final Season Part 3 is finally available on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
Today at 3:00 p.m. PT, Crunchyroll announced that it has reached the anime streaming platform and Hulu, and also released a trailer for the next special. The news comes after North American fans had to wait most of Friday as the hour-long special aired at 12:25am on Japanese broadcaster NHK, but was not available on any official streaming platform in the West for several hours.
Suffice to say, fans got a little desperate.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 is split in half and it was announced earlier today that the second half will premiere this fall, although no specific release date has been given.
Notably, in today’s episode hitting Crunchyroll and Hulu announcement, Crunchyroll dubbed tonight’s episode Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters Special 1 “reaching its epic conclusion this fall” — not to mention the fact that it’s not a manga more to customize – it’s safe to say this really is the end.
