‘No one even knew about this guy’: Attorney for murder victim’s family in Idaho says Bryan Kohberger had NO CONNECTION to any of the four students he allegedly murdered

Kaylee Goncalves’ family attorney says suspect Bryan Kohberger has no connection to any of the four students he allegedly murdered.
Kohberger faces the death penalty for four counts of first-degree murder.
He denies the allegations, although DNA from the crime scene matches a sample from his home, and says he will prove his innocence in court.
While police have presented some of their evidence against him, no motive for the killings has yet been suggested.

Now, Shannon Gray — Kaylee’s family attorney — says Kohberger didn’t even know one of the victims.
“Nobody knew this guy,” Gray said in an interview with Business Insider.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed in court last week, Kohberger visited the students’ home several times.
“The affidavit states that he was in the area of the house on several occasions. That’s all we know,’ Gray added.
Kaylee’s family have previously revealed their fears that she was being followed, but a stalker has never been identified.
Steve Goncalves, Kaylee’s father, previously said in an interview that he saw a “connection” between Kohberger and the victims, but didn’t go into detail.

Kohberger is scheduled to appear in court again on Thursday. He was denied bail last week after a brief hearing in Idaho following his extradition from Pennsylvania, where he was arrested.
FBI agents monitored his home for days before arresting him.
Their clinching weapon was the DNA evidence against Kohberger; A sample found on the button clasp of a knife sheath left at the scene matched 99.98 percent with DNA from his family home, which could only belong to him or his father.
At the time of the November murders, Kohberger lived seven miles from the scene and was studying at the University of Washington’s Pullman campus.
His white Hyundai Elantra also matches the car that was driving in the area the night of the attacks, and police say he suspected he turned off his cellphone in the hours surrounding the attack, allegedly to avoid detection.
Kohberger has not yet filed a plea or full defense, but his Pennsylvania public defender said he is eager to prove his innocence.
He retains the support of his family, who accompanied him to court for his first appearance.
