247 A footage obtained by CNN showed former President of the United States Donald Trump (Republican Party) speaking about possession of classified documents which he has not declassified. This month, the former representative was indicted after he was accused of illegally storing national security documents after leaving office and lying to authorities trying to recover the material. The audio is from a 2021 meeting in Bedminster, New Jersey (USA). Trump faces 37 criminal charges in the lawsuit in which he was a defendant on June 8. According to the investigation, confidential documents were located at the MaraLago resort in Palm Beach, Florida (USA).

The recording, which first aired on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, includes new details of the conversation. “These are the papers,” Trump says in the audio recording while discussing the Pentagon’s attack plans, a quote not included in the indictment.

The American and his advisers joke about Hillary Clinton’s emails after the former president said the document was “classified information”. “Hillary was printing that all along, you know. Your private emails,” the Trump official said. “No, she would mail it to Anthony Weiner,” the former president replied, referring to the former Democratic MP, drawing laughter from the room.

In the recording, Trump stated that “these are the papers,” a nod to something he describes as “highly confidential.” Last week, the former president told Fox News. “There was no document. There was a huge amount of newspapers and everything that talked about Iran and stuff. And it may or may not have been withheld, but it wasn’t a document. I had no document with me. There was nothing to downgrade. There were newspaper stories, magazine stories and articles.”
