On Thursday, TMZ denied that Butler proposed to Gerber.
The excitement began earlier this week when it was claimed the 31-year-old Elvis star had proposed in April.
It has also been claimed that the 21-year-old Vogue model, spotted out in Los Angeles this week, was happy to accept despite a 10-year age difference.
It was added that they didn’t want to reveal their marriage plans to the public.
The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and the popular actor have been together since December 2021.

The rumor started with Deuxmoi sharing an Instagram post claiming the two were ready to walk down the aisle.
And although there is a 10-year age difference between them, Kaia’s famous parents have given their approval to the couple.
Followers spoke up.
Some pointed out that Austin dated 34-year-old Vanessa Hudgens for eight years, from 2011 to 2019, without putting a ring on her finger.
Kaia previously dated Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi from September 2020 to November 2021.
A source told Radar Butler could propose one day.
“These two are a real deal and Austin even mentioned that he might consider proposing to him later,” the source added.

Earlier this month, Kaia’s famous mom told People that her daughter is balancing her career and personal life much like she did in the 1980s.
“I think she kind of understands how my husband and I have dealt with it over the years,” the former Sports Illustrated cover girl said.
“What’s not that we never try to say, ‘Oh, we can’t go there because we might get photographed.’

Cindy said one big difference is that social media didn’t exist in her day.
“Like everything, it has good and bad sides,” she added.

The former House of Style host admitted she’s also learning to navigate social media alongside her young daughter, but is proud of how she’s handled it.
