Austin Butler paid tribute to Lisa Marie Presley.
“My heart is broken for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie,” the actor said in a statement to E! News on Friday January 13 – the day after her death.
“I am infinitely grateful for the times I was fortunate enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared together. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered,” he said.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley and his wife Priscilla, died of cardiac arrest on Thursday, January 12, at the age of 54.

His touching words come just three days after he told Lisa Marie and Priscilla that he will love them forever following his Golden Globe win.
During Tuesday night’s Golden Globes ceremony, the 31-year-old won the Best Actor, Motion Picture award for his starring role in the Elvis biopic.
The honoree, who spent time with Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie and his wife Priscilla to portray the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, was quick to express his thanks in his acceptance speech.

At the touching tribute, Austin vowed to love the ladies “forever.”
As the women broke down in tears, Austin said, “I also want to thank our incredible producers and Warner Bros and the Presley family.
“Thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your homes to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.’

Lisa Marie and Priscilla had accompanied Austin on much of the Elvis promotional tour, and the trio had become close during filming of the biopic.
After seeing Elvis, Priscilla gushed about Baz Luhrmann’s vision and Austin’s performance as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, to whom she was married just over six years.
The film chronicles the life and career of Elvis from his childhood beginnings in Mississippi through his rise as a rock ‘n’ roll icon and movie star, along with his complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

Lisa Marie died Thursday at the age of 54, hours after suffering cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition and was said to have been in a coma after going into “complete cardiac arrest” shortly after complaining of abdominal pain, according to TMZ.
Priscilla, who was by her daughter’s side, said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thanks for the love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.’
Sources told TMZ that Lisa Marie was found unresponsive in her bedroom by her housekeeper and that her ex-husband, Danny Keough, who she lives with, was performing CPR until paramedics arrived at the home.
Lisa Marie’s life has been turbulent, with five stints in rehab for cocaine and opioid abuse, four failed marriages, the loss of her son to suicide, and a bitter custody battle over her twins with an ex-husband she falsely accused of having child pornography.
