Austin Butler’s emotional tribute to Lisa Marie Presley has gone viral after the singer died from shock from cardiac arrest.
During Monday night’s Golden Globes ceremony, the 31-year-old actor won the Best Actor, Motion Picture award for his starring role in the Elvis biopic.
The honoree, who spent time with Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie and wife Priscilla to portray the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, was quick to thank them in his acceptance speech.

At the touching tribute, Austin vowed to love the ladies “forever.”
As the women broke down in tears, Austin said, “I also want to thank our incredible producers and Warner Bros and the Presley family.
“Thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your homes to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.’

Lisa Marie and Presley had accompanied Austin on much of the Elvis promotional tour, and the trio had become close during filming of the biopic.
After seeing Elvis, Priscilla gushed about Baz Luhrmann’s vision and Austin’s performance as the King of Rock and Roll, to whom she was married just over six years.
The film chronicles the life and career of Elvis from his childhood beginnings in Mississippi through his rise as a rock ‘n’ roll icon and movie star, along with his complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

It was announced on Friday that Lisa Marie had died at the age of 54, hours after suffering cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition and was said to have been in a coma after going into “complete cardiac arrest” shortly after complaining of abdominal pain, according to TMZ.
Priscilla, who was by her daughter’s side, said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thanks for the love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time,” the statement continued.
Lisa Marie’s life has been turbulent with five stints in rehab for cocaine and opioid abuse, four failed marriages, the loss of her son to suicide, and a bitter custody battle over her twins with an ex-husband she accused of having child pornography.
