Jackie ‘O’ Henderson toasted Australia’s political future at a boisterous election party on Saturday night surrounded by her KIIS FM colleagues.

Instagram photos from the VIP-only soiree show Henderson, 47, and other radio staff seated at a table laden with drinks as Labor leader Anthony Albanese triumphs over Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Henderson smiled as she posed for photos at the table, despite sitting next to several staffers who support opposing political parties.

Henderson, who had previously expressed her support for the Morrison government, was joined at the table by left-leaning news anchor Brooklyn Ross and Albanian supporter Intern Pete Deppeler.

Also in attendance was producer Jermaine D’Vauz, who earlier this week shared his support for Morrison by performing the Liberal Party’s election tune “There’s A Whole In Your Budget” on Instagram.

Producers Tom Whitaker, “Coffee” John Nicholson, Sam Vallins and former KIIS collaborator Pedro Cruz – whose political affiliations are all unknown – were also spied on photos from the event.

Notably absent from the table, however, was Henderson’s co-host and fellow Morrison, Kyle Sandilands.

Sandilands and Henderson previously announced during a radio broadcast last month that they would be voting for Morrison in the 2022 federal election.

“I feel safe with him. I didn’t even like him at first… I feel very safe with him now,” said Sandilands, who counts Morrison among his friends after speaking with the now-former Prime Minister about Australia’s involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war.

“When the world is in shit I like to stay with experienced people who actually know what’s going on,” added the right-wing radio announcer.

Henderson replied, “That’s why politicians don’t mind when it comes to elections, Kyle, that a war might break out, because [voters] stay with the person responsible.’

However, Sandilands and Henderson’s prediction fell short on Saturday night after Scott Morrison conceded defeat to Labor leader Anthony Albanese.

Defense Secretary Peter Dutton is widely expected to become opposition leader after Mr Morrison said he would step down as leader.

Mr Morrison has meanwhile congratulated Mr Albanese on his election victory.

“When we see the people of Ukraine fighting for their freedom, I think that on a night like this we can reflect on the greatness of our democracy,” he said.

“It is right to recognize the functioning of our democracy. I have always believed in Australians and their judgment and have always been willing to accept their judgments and tonight they delivered their judgment and I congratulate Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party and wish him and his government well. ‘
