Fitness guru Pip Edwards takes on sports legend Ash Barty on the tennis court
Pip Edwards stepped out onto the court with tennis legend Ash Barty at the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Saturday.
After work with friends, the fashion icon, 42, played with tennis commentator Casey Dellacqua and TV presenter Darren McMullen.
The fitness guru posted snaps to Instagram of her day with the athletic crew, wearing an all-black tennis ensemble from her own label PE Nation.

After posing for a few photos with her friends, Edwards shared candid shots of herself hitting some balls.
She also got some tips from the former Australian Open champion when Barty, 26, told her to “always hit the ball long”.
“Off and long is better than going on the web,” Edwards captioned one of her photos.

Edwards appeared to be in good spirits after she was dragged into the public eye between her ex Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough, of which Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine were involved.
Extraordinary footage emerged last Wednesday of a heated exchange between Clarke and Yarbrough while they were on holiday in Noosa, Queensland.
In the video, which was shot by a viewer on January 10 and sold to The Daily Telegraph for $10,000, Yarbrough accused the former Test captain of cheating on her with his former flame Edwards on December 17.

Others in the group, including Stefanovic, his wife Jasmine – Yarbrough’s older sister – and famed accountant Anthony Bell tried to defuse the commotion.
Yarbrough and Clarke, who limp in footage after injuring a hamstring, have since been hit with “public nuisance” fines.
Stefanovic is yet to comment on the matter but was asked about the footage during an event at the Australian Open last Thursday.

According to the Herald Sun, when asked if he would like to comment, he smiled but declined to say anything.
“You know what the answer will be,” he replied.
A remorseful Clarke has since accepted full responsibility for what happened.
