Australian radio host shares his biggest complaint about Taylor Swift's Era touring shows: “It doesn't need a concert.”

An Australian radio host has voiced his biggest complaint about Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras tour shows.

While 3AW star Tom Elliot described Swift's performance at a Melbourne show as “amazing”, he criticized the Cruel Summer hitmaker after her show ran “way too long”.

“The only negative thing I would say about the concert is that it was way too long,” Elliot, 56, said Monday morning.

“I admire Swift for being able to stay on stage for so long three nights in a row,” he added.

“But there doesn’t have to be a concert in these three and a half hours. “Sometimes, Taylor Swift and all Swifties, less is more.”

The complaint came after the Aussie Swifties complained about an “annoying” act by fans at the Melbourne concerts.

Lee, from Victoria, recently sparked a debate about proper concert etiquette after a young fan kept her arms in the air throughout the show.

The woman's actions blocked Lee's view and prevented her from seeing Taylor's performance at several points.

“Does this count as a restricted view ticket?” she asked on TikTok, along with a clip.

Lee shared that she politely asked the woman to dance with her hands down because she couldn't see – but it didn't work.

The superfan was upset because she had spent hundreds on Eras tour tickets and had been looking forward to the concert for months.

However, many criticized her for criticizing the other fan's “normal” behavior.

“Part of going to a concert is knowing that no matter where you are, your visibility will be limited most of the time,” one said.

“Even the front row isn't perfect because there are other people there.” “The arms are always held up and swinging – and the artists will go everywhere if there are blind spots,” another argued.

A third said: “I don't see anything restricting your view.” “I see someone having fun and an entitled person complaining about it.”

Another concert-goer from Melbourne said: “I loved how involved people were, it was so much fun.” My whole section was dancing and jumping around throughout the entire show. Was epic.'

But others sided with Lee and didn't believe in the young woman's “selfish” act.

“People need to learn concert etiquette.” I understand she's excited, but we still need to be respectful of your surroundings. Manners!' one wrote.

“Look, if I paid all that money and someone constantly blocked my view, I would be upset. 'We're all there to have fun BUT you have to be respectful!' another repeated himself.

“You can dance and enjoy a concert without waving your arm around the whole time,” one woman wrote.

“I have previous problems so I can't stand or even sit for long, BUT I still want to be able to see the artist. 'Is that so wrong?' one asked.
