However, according to Thai authorities, there was apparently only one warrant out for the arrest of the man, who belongs to the rock scene, on suspicion of fraud. In any case, four suspects were reportedly arrested during the operation in Pattaya – including the Austrian.

This was reported by bild.de, citing a press conference held in Thailand after the arrest. Three Germans, two women and a man, and a Pakistani man were arrested last week.

The “Outlaws Motorcycle Club” was apparently targeted by Thai investigators after questioning the four suspects – the leader of the rockers is said to be the 39-year-old Austrian. The other three suspects would be from Switzerland, USA and Germany.

Ready to escape?

According to the Thai authorities, the Austrian had already prepared his escape. However, according to the local press, he denied having any connection with the German’s violent death – even though he was the leader of the rock club, as he would have admitted.

German real estate agent Hans Peter M., 62, was reported missing on July 4 and his body was discovered about a week later. Thai authorities suspect money as a motive: it must be about around €80,000 ido, who are said to have blackmailed the prisoners last week.

unclear information

What exactly the four most recently arrested suspects are charged with was unclear Saturday. Authorities were more specific about the men and women arrested last week: three are accused of killing and dismembering the realtor. The fourth suspect would have rented the house where the victim was discovered.
