James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water is a hit $497.1M worldwide through Monday, on track to pass the half-billion mark worldwide when counting Tuesday’s intake.

The 20th Century Studios/Disney sci-fi adventure sequel has already helped push Walt Disney Studios past the $4 billion mark by 2022.
