The look of the fans Wonder has already progressed over the years towards the two films announced last summer that may pump up the hype: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Already with the first one you can make some assumptions about the played villain Jonathan Majors, the second is still shrouded in mystery. Or maybe not.
An insider has actually revealed some possible plot details regarding the last one Movie Stage 6 planned for the MCU. For those who are not avid comic book readers, we should remember that the Secret Wars books were originally published in 1984 and later in a new edition in 2015. In both cases, the main enemy isn’t actually Kang the Conqueror, though Doctor doom: in the 80s he managed to defeat galactus and the arcanuma mysterious being from outer space who pits the heroes and villains of earth against each other.
However, in the miniseries from 7 years ago, he has an even more fundamental role: along with Doctor StrangeDestiny challenges the Arcana, the designers of the universe, to prevent the incursion between two multiverse (very hot topic in the MCU). The bad guy Fantastic Four comes to become absolute lord of battle worldthe universe in which the decisive confrontation between the heroes of the Marvel and Ultimate universes.
So Avengers: Secret Wars is expected to be the sum of the Multiverse saga and apparently fans won’t be disappointed. Especially the ones they loved Avengers: Endgame. According to insider HeavySpoilers on Twitter, the two films will indeed have a lot in common: “From what I’ve heard, With Secret Wars they want to remake Endgame, but with travel to the multiverse instead of time. Instead of going to major points in the MCU like they did in Endgame, they will travel to the grand universes of the Marvel Universe. (HERE the tweet).
Bottom line, it could be another big bunch of superheroes, variants included: fans have been hoping for more than just seeing for a while wolverinebut also Iron Man by Robert Downey Jr. According to some rumours, it will be possible to see it again even earlier. We recall that Avengers: Secret Wars estimated release date is set to May 1, 2026.
