According to PEOPLE, Chrissy Teigen has given birth to her and John Legend’s third child.
Legend confirmed the baby news when she appeared at a private concert on Friday night and told the crowd that he and his wife welcomed “the little baby this morning.”
“What a blessed day,” the singer said, adding that while he “didn’t get much sleep,” he felt “excited” after spending “a lot of time” at Chrissy’s side in the hospital.

One person attending the concert tweeted Friday night: “@johnlegend just told us he had a baby this morning #congratulations.”
Chrissy announced she’s expecting her third child on Instagram in August, posting a photo of her blossoming baby bump. The happy news came almost two years after she and John lost their son Jack at 20 weeks pregnant.
In her announcement, Chrissy described the last few years as a “blurring of feelings” after losing Jack and then struggling to conceive through IVF. Now her home is filled with “joy” again.
“The last few years have been a tangle of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our homes and hearts again,” she began in the post.

“At every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce it,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief when I hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too nervous.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nervousness but so far everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and great. Ok, phew, it was very hard to keep that down for so long!’
