Speaking about joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise, Recchia gushed that he was optimistic about “getting a second chance.”

“I think things happen for a reason,” she said in a first look at the highly anticipated season.

Her former fiancé, who admitted cheating on her during a rough patch in their relationship, admitted he will be tuning in to see her and some of his friends on Bachelor Nation on the series.

“I’ll probably watch because I’ve heard rumors that Aven [Jones] and Tyler [Norris] and some of the guys I liked my season went down. So I’ll cheer her on and if she thinks she can find love [on Paradise] After everything she’s been through, I think good for her,” he said on Courtney Robertson’s After Reality Podcast.

He continued, “I think one thing – whether you like it or not – you have to give it credit is that it has no end. I’ll watch but focus on the boys.”

Recchia and Franco’s relationship ended dramatically in the season finale of The Bachelorette, just months after she accepted his proposal.

During the episode, she revealed they went through a difficult time following their engagement.

“It didn’t work out, he cheated on me,” she told viewers. “It’s heartbreaking.”

During a conversation with his then-fiancée, Franco admitted he “screwed it up” and “kissed another girl.”

“The second I did that, I knew I belonged with you,” he said. “That was the smallest thing ever.”

Recchia said she wanted to know everything. Tino said it was a girl he knew before appearing on the show and met at a bar. Tino then quoted Rachel things he thought she had said to him during the week of the premiere.

“It was a one-time mistake,” Franco said.

Recchia said she highly doubts it was a one-time kiss. Franco then asked Recchia if there was any way that would work for her. Recchia said he had to work a lot. Franco said he needed air, then went outside and took off his microphone.

“This isn’t going to friggin’ anywhere,” Franco told a producer. ‘She just wants to hit me.’ She throws me in front of the bus and says it’s all lies.’

Eventually they decided to go their separate ways and she returned her engagement ring to him.

At the time, she said on Good Morning America that she didn’t think anyone deserved to ever go through what she did.

During her appearance on The Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in November, Recchia revealed they’re back together.

During her conversation with Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young, she explained that she’s slowly returning to the dating scene.

The reality star admitted she even took a risk by dating “a random person” who “slipped into” her DMs.

“We just went for coffee.” “It was easygoing,” she gushed.

When asked directly if they had kissed, Recchia replied, “Maybe!”

In addition, she confirmed that she would be willing to take part in “Bachelor in Paradise”.

“I’ll go if Michelle goes down with me,” the TV personality teased. “I won’t go without her.”
