Bachelorette personality Josh Seiter has died at the age of 36, just days after speaking out on social media about his mental health struggles.
“It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Joshua’s unexpected death,” his family said in a statement, TMZ reported. “As those who knew him can attest, Joshua was an incredibly bright light in an increasingly dark world.”
Seiter’s family said that “his fearless voice and indomitable spirit have helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel a little less alone.”
“Though the grief of Joshua’s death pains us beyond measure, we find comfort in knowing that he has finally found peace.”
Seiter starred in the 2015 ABC series with Kaitlyn Bristowe in the lead character and left in the first week of the series.
