Bad Bunny and the highest grossing Latino artists in history

Los Angeles (USA) (EFE).- Bad Bunny, Luis Miguel and Marc Anthony are the three highest-grossing Latino artists of all time, according to data collected by Billboard Boxscore since the 1980s.

The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Bad Bunny takes first place on the list of 20 artists presented this Thursday, having collected 508.7 million dollars (469 million euros) in 170 concerts and his shows totaled by 3.3 million viewers visited.

In 2022, the “Un verano sin ti” author became the first artist with primarily Spanish music to top Billboard Boxscore’s full-year report.

In second place is the Mexican singer Luis Miguel, who brought in $319 million (€294 million) from a total of 567 concerts and attracted 4.3 million people to his shows.

On August 3rd, the artist also known as “El Sol de México” started his first tour in five years entitled “Luis Miguel Tour 23/24” at the Movistar Arena Theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with which he also visited countries such as Mexico will visit , Chile, USA, Colombia and Venezuela.

For his part, Marc Anthony is in third place with 315 million dollars (290 million euros) collected in 424 shows in which he was able to share his successes with more than 3.8 million visitors.

The list also includes deceased artists such as Juan Gabriel and Vicente Férnandez, who occupy positions eight and 13 respectively, as well as new generations of artists such as Grupo Firme, Maluma and Karol G.

The count is completed by Chayanne, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Pitbull, Ricardo Arjona, Pepe Aguilar, Romeo Santos and Marco Antonio Solís.

The numbers in the list are based on her solo performances, to which 50% of the income from concerts with other artists is added. Income from his festival shows is not included.
