Like the international star in 2022 Bad bunny That Saturday morning, he delivered dozens of gifts to hundreds of children and families who had been arriving at the convention center in San Juan since Friday evening to enjoy the “Beautiful Tradition” event Good Bunny Foundation.
One of the little ones who fulfilled his wish of seeing Bad Bunny again was the boy Nethaniel Cardona Rodríguez from Quebradillas, taking part in the event for the third consecutive year. In fact, this year it was the first child to receive a gift from the city interpreter. He had been standing in line since 5:30 a.m. and was first in line inside that was designated for people with disabilities.
When the minor received some gloves as a gift from the artist, he happily shouted, “Bad Bunny, Bad Bunny.”
Before the meeting, the seven-year-old boy sat happily in his wheelchair and wished that he would see his favorite artist again and that Bad Bunny would be the one to give him the gift, just like last year. The Puerto Rican artist gave him art objects in 2022.
“This is my third year here. It's a tradition. I'm happy and hope I can see him again. “I like their music, but I skip the bad parts,” said the emotional minor, accompanied by his mother. Kathyria Rodríguez.
Rodríguez is five months pregnant and told the media that the baby girl she is expecting “will also be part of this tradition because we hope to keep coming.”
Bad Bunny once again granted Nethaniel's wish because he was the first child to receive a gift from the big city star. (Damaris Hernandez Mercado)Like last year, Bad Bunny limited himself to handing out gifts in rows 1 and 2. From there, he took photos with those present and asked the minors what they wanted as a gift. The meeting with his country's press was shorter this time, only about ten minutes, as the artistic team asked the media to clear the area of the lines. The urban singer – who this time was dressed in a black “hoodie” – made no statements to the media.

(Vanessa Serra Diaz)The first people to enter the convention center were the residents of Aguada, Manuel Vendrel and his niece Dilia Chaparrowho stood in line from 11:30 p.m. on Friday that occupied the main entrance to the center, which opened its doors at 8:05 a.m. in the morning
The 12-year-old girl's proud uncle explained that he had been traveling since yesterday evening and thought that “there would be a long line, but when we arrived we were the first.” For this family, it is the first time She celebrates the holidays and Christmas traditions with the children of Puerto Rico at the event.
Disappointed not to see the artist
The uncle and niece who arrived with so much enthusiasm were disappointed that they didn't see Bad Bunny. As the girl left the gift in tears, she said: “It was a bad experience, I'm not coming back, it was the first and last time, they didn't let me see him.”
Chaparro stated that when she entered the convention center, she was not placed in the first row, the handicapped row, so she was unable to meet the international star. The uncle was also outraged. “Been here since last night and not even the first person in line could see it. This is a disappointment, we wanted to see it but couldn’t.”
The Good Bunny Foundation has held this event four times and around 25,000 gifts were given away at each edition.
The special donation, carried out by the municipal artist together with a large group of volunteers from the foundation, gave away musical instruments such as keyboards, guitars, timpani, sports equipment such as gloves, balls and rackets; and art materials such as drawing pads, canvas and paints, among others.

(Damaris Hernandez Mercado)The other family who also got up early to get to the event was Silvia Mestres and her twin daughters Sylmar And Genesis Trinidad Mestres. It is the first time for the mother and 14-year-old daughters to take part in the event and that is the purpose of participating Sylmar can deliver a personal letter to Bad Bunny.
The young woman did not reveal the content of the letter, but explained that it was about the positive influence that the voice of “Monaco” had on her life.
Sylmar and Génesis Trinidad and their mother Silvia Mestres were the second to arrive. Sylmar had a special letter to deliver to the singer. (Vanessa Serra Diaz)“Whatever you do for your children, I woke up at 3:00 in the morning to bring them. I hope she can give him the letter,” commented the twins’ mother.
The 14-year-old girl could not hand over the letter to the artist because, like the first to arrive, they were placed in a different row, far from where the urban star was.
This year, Bad Bunny is not the only public figure taking part in the event, which is characterized by a good organization. The urban representatives Arcángel and Dei V and the influencers Jorge Pabon “Molusco” and Chente Ydrach take part in the Christmas party.
The Good Bunny Foundation aims to strengthen the talent of children and young people by providing gifts in the areas of art, music and sports.
The meeting promotes family dynamics with various thematic stations. The attractions inside are interactive images that allude to Christmas. There is also an exhibition about the work of the young people who took part in the Good Bunny Foundation camp in 2023.
