On social networks, many travelers denounce the theft of their luggage, including valuables, during their trips from some of the national airports.

A father was arrested at Algiers airport for stealing luggage

A father in his 40s has been arrested at Algiers airport for stealing luggage. Indeed, according to Arabic-speaking Ennahar, who provided the information, this father would have found a purse containing a large sum of money at the same airport.

In addition, on Monday October 3, the accused was ordered for an immediate appearance in Dar El Beida court. He said he was at the airport concourse level during his trial when he saw the bag in question. Then he decides to check it out and discovers the large sum of money there. On the other hand, this father has announced his intention to return the object to its owner.

For his part, the judge in charge of his case explains to him that there is a lost luggage service. And blamed him for not acting in the best way. Something that could cost him dearly. The public prosecutor’s office meanwhile demanded a one-year prison sentence with 20,000 Algerian dinars as a fine for this mistreatment. The verdict will be announced next week.
