A child and two police officers were injured. The police began an investigation.

A spherical bomb was detonated next to a radio van at a meeting in Berlin-Neukölln on Saturday night. A young child and two police officers were injured Saturday night, police said on X, formerly Twitter.

When questioned, a spokeswoman was unable to provide any information about the severity of the injuries or the child’s age. The Berlin fire brigade is treating the injured and the investigation is ongoing, she said.

When questioned late Saturday night, a Berlin police spokesman said that, based on current knowledge, there was no link to a pro-Palestinian demonstration during the afternoon.
