BamBam of South Korean boy band Got7 performed at halftime in the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers at the Chase Center on Thursday night.
This is the same BamBam who may have been responsible for putting Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins in the starting lineup for the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.
On Jan. 7, BamBam, a Warriors Global Ambassador, posted on his Instagram that he was “extremely honored to be named the Golden State Warriors Global Ambassador.” He added: “I will do my best to engage with GSW and all fans throughout the 2022 season. Please continue to show our support to the biggest GSW players!”
The K-pop star, who has 15 million Instagram followers and 9.4 million Twitter followers, then tweeted his all-star vote for Wiggins, calling him one of the “best two-way players.” the league. Wiggins ended up receiving 2,644,571 votes, earning him a spot on the Western Conference starting lineup.
Unfortunately, most fans used the half-time break to get refreshments or go to the bathroom as the stands looked terribly empty. Maybe the team should have reminded them what BamBam did for Wiggins.

The Warriors beat the Lakers 128-112. The Warriors’ Stephen Curry and the Lakers’ LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook did not play.
