It said it had “failed to comply with a statutory requirement for a liquidation amount payable immediately”.

The bulk of the debt consists of a £535,700 claim from unpaid self-assessment tax or national insurance and more than £40,000 from late payment penalties.

But she also owes more than £140,000 in missing VAT payments as well as almost £10,000 in VAT surcharges.

The paperwork is dated November 2023, but the case has been adjourned until at least March this year.

Katie was served with the payment request in October, but it was not followed, according to the documents.

The document states that the £761,994 claim is a “liquidated amount”, meaning it may need to sell properties or investments to free up cash.

It continues: “To the best of our knowledge and belief, the request has neither been complied with nor has it been repealed.”

Web has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.
