The constant visits of stars from all over the world in our country have made clear the fascination that emanates from the nature of Costa Rica. To reaffirm this obsession with Costa Rica, the series Our Great National Parks, released this Wednesday on Netflix, includes Manuel Antonio National Park among the must-see tourist attractions when having a good time amidst the want to spend in nature.
The documentary series will be moderated by none other than former US President Barack Obama. Tico Park appears in the first chapter of the Netflix series, around minute 25.
In addition, the series shows other natural beauties such as Monterey Bay in California, Tsavo National Park in Kenya, Gunung Leuser National Park in Indonesia and Chilean Patagonia.

The series consists of five episodes of approximately fifty minutes each. As President, Obama protected more public lands and waters than any other American President.
Obama describes the show as a “journey through the natural wonders of our shared birthright, but that birthright is under constant attack, from man-made disasters and indulgences that have accelerated a global climate crisis, and many species are on the brink of extinction,” Obama said of Netflix published statement.

Higher Ground Productions, the audiovisual content production company founded by Barack and his wife Michelle Obama, signed a collaboration agreement with Netflix in 2018. This is the first production to feature the former President on screen in a program he produced himself. The only previous content to be released was the podcast with Spotify called Renegades, which he co-led with Bruce Springsteen the previous year.
