Barbie director Greta Gerwig and fellow director Noah Baumbach have tied the knot after almost twelve years together.
According to Page Six, the 40-year-old filmmaker and the 54-year-old Oscar nominee said “I do” at New York City Hall on Tuesday.
The two then celebrated the special occasion by attending Billy Joel's Madison Square Garden concert. At the show, Gerwig was heard telling people backstage that they had just gotten married.
“They were both beaming and celebrating.” “They are so happy,” shared a source who spoke to the publication.
In photos from the show, Greta was seen wearing a white bridal blazer and top, worn over a pleated skirt. Meanwhile, Noah looked handsome in his dark blue suit.

The couple also reportedly told people at City Hall about their wedding before heading to Joel's show.
The duo were also seen in backstage snaps with Joel and his wife Alexis Roderick.
It is Gerwig's first and Baumbach's second marriage. He was previously married to actress Jennifer Jason Leigh (61) from 2005 to 2013.
Noah and Greta began dating in 2011 before getting engaged in 2020.
At the time, she told James Corden that she preferred not to call him her “fiancé” because it “gave the impression that a wedding was imminent.”
The couple has two sons together: Harold, born in March 2019, and another son, whom they gave birth to in February 2023.
Baumbach also has 13-year-old son Rohmer with his first wife Jennifer.
In July, Greta revealed that the couple had secretly welcomed their second child four months earlier.

The star announced her pregnancy back in December 2022, but only publicly announced the birth of her child – a baby boy – in a conversation with Elle.
She didn't reveal her baby boy's name, but shared details about her motherhood, including the few hours she slept just to watch her “wise little baby” sleep.
During filming, Greta took a break to pump breast milk into a bottle while remarking, “I'm turning 40 soon.”
“And there’s something that makes you think, Oh! “I’m really middle-aged now.”
She gushed about the newborn as she showed the interviewer a photo of the little one at his final four-month checkup. “He's a little schmoo.” I don't know if you can see the energy in the picture, but that's totally his energy. He's a wise little baby.'
“The little guy sleeps through the night.” But I still do the thing where I wake up every hour to 90 minutes and just float. You just want to look at the baby again and again. “So I'm slightly in a state of twilight,” explained Greta.
Greta announced that she was expecting a second child on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in December 2022, noting that she had been flaunting her baby bump since November.
“I actually thought it would be like this – I was at an event recently and I wore something that I thought everyone would be so interested to know if they found out I was having another child,” said them to the talk show host.

Noah and Jennifer's divorce is rumored to have been the inspiration for his hot Netflix film Marriage Story, starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson.
After making a name for herself as an actress, Greta became an acclaimed director with the high school dramedy “Lady Bird,” starring Saoirse Ronan and Beanie Feldstein.
She received further praise for her star-studded film “Little Women,” in which Saoirse stars alongside Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet and Meryl Streep, among others.
Her latest hit film “Barbie” stars Margot Robbie as the title character and Ryan Gosling as Ken. The cast includes Will Ferrell, Issa Rae and Simu Liu.
Gerwig, who co-wrote the screenplay with Noah, made history as director of Barbie, becoming the first female director to direct a billion-dollar film.
