Less than a month before Warner Bros.’ In the highly anticipated Barbie movie, fans can get a chance to stay in the real Malibu DreamHouse for free.
AirBnB announced Monday that fans can book two free nights for every two guests at the DreamHouse in Malibu on July 21 and 22.
The stays will be free because, according to an Airbnb press release, Ken “hasn’t figured out how to price Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse.”
Fans can request a room at the DreamHouse beginning Monday, July 17 at 10am PT at AirBNB.com/KensDreamHouse.
The press release, which includes photos by photographer Joyce Lee, even includes a quote from the fictional Ken – played by Ryan Gosling, who just went on a global press tour with co-star Margot Robbie.

“We all have dreams and Barbie is lucky enough to have a house full of dreams,” Ken said in his statement.
“But now it’s my turn and I can’t wait to welcome guests to this unique – may I say unique Ken? – digs,” he added.
The DreamHouse is located in Malibu, California, an oceanfront mansion that “offers panoramic views and serves as the perfect backdrop to Ken’s picture-plastic paradise.”
Fans staying at the DreamHouse can “explore Ken’s amazing wardrobe to find the best beach fit.”
You can also learn some line dancing on “Ken’s Outdoor Disco Dance Floor” or perform the musically included “Sunset Serenade on Ken’s Guitar.”
Guests can also sunbathe and relax by the infinity pool and will even go home with impressive souvenirs.
Fans can take home “their own set of yellow and pink Impala skates and surfboards” after their stay.
Airbnb will also recognize the theme of the upcoming girl empowerment film by making a one-time donation to Save The Children.

Not the first time: This is not the first time that the DreamHouse has been opened to Airbnb guests, as the home’s private owners posted this on the website back in October 2019

The organization Save The Children provides “learning resources and support to children, families and communities in over 100 countries to boost girls’ confidence and help them excel in school – ensuring that all the have equal chances of success.”
This isn’t the first time the DreamHouse has opened up to Airbnb guests, as the home’s private owners posted it on the website back in October 2019.
Back then, to commemorate Barbie’s 60th birthday, fans could pay $60 a night to stay.
These stays included fencing lessons from World Champion Ibtihaj Muhammad, a makeover from famed hairstylist Jen Atkin and a cooking lesson from chef Gina Clarke-Helm.
The home’s private owners have not been disclosed, although the home was listed for $25 million back in 2013.
