With the Alpha 7 IV (A7 IV), Sony strikes a blow. The fixes, adjustments and other improvements are there, both on a software and ergonomic level. Always at the forefront of performance in managing autofocus and subject tracking, this very good performance is to be compared with increasing image sharpness. If there is still a bit of stinginess to complain about, it’s hard not to place the Alpha 7 IV (A7 IV) as an excellent device for everything. Powered by a greatly improved video section and still very effective photo mode, the Alpha 7 IV (A7 IV) positions itself as a benchmark in its segment.

With the X-H2, Fujifilm transforms the test. The new range is very complete, very versatile and almost flawless. With trifles, we can always say that the APS-C X-Trans sensor, even if it is 40 Mpx, is always a step behind the 24×36 sensors with equivalent resolution. Likewise, autofocus tracking would need a bit of tweaking to reach the level of the best. The X-H2 remains an excellent case that feels comfortable on almost all terrains.
