According to Sportsnet, 2024 started well for Toronto Raptors new additions RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, who are looking forward to playing in the Queen City.

They met with the media for the first time on Monday. The two acquisitions came from the New York Knicks along with a second-round pick in the next draft. In return, the Raptors waived OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa.

Barrett, a Toronto native, will make a childhood dream come true by donning his new jersey.

At the end of the season, Barrett will be under contract for three more seasons. The deal will pay him $82 million. Quickley, for his part, will be a restricted free agent this summer.
