The “Can’t Smile Without You” hitmaker added a black shirt and black pants, completing his sleek look.

He appeared in good spirits and smiled as he greeted the guests waiting for him outside.

Barry was seen with Melissa Etheridge and Ben Platt.

For several years he has been performing in New York City.

In 2018, Barry had to cancel the start of his Las Vegas show at the Westgate Resort and Casino after being hospitalized with a bronchitis.

“I can’t believe this is happening,” Manilow tweeted at the time.

“Our new show is done, we’re all ready and we’ve all been looking forward to tonight.”

Meanwhile, during an interview on Lorraine in 2019, Barry revealed that coming out earlier “would have ruined his career.”

The star fell in love with Garry Kief in 1978 and married him in 2014, but didn’t go public with his sexuality until 2017.

Speaking about their relationship, he told the presenter, “It’s absolutely wonderful.”

“I went through many, many years where I couldn’t do that.” It would have ruined my career. Immediately.’

The singer opened up about doing whatever he could to hide his sexuality around the time before he introduced Garry as his partner.

He continued, “Once word got around, my career would have been over.”

“It was stupid then, but it was true.” Everyone knew it, we had to be careful not to make a mistake. Not that everyone didn’t know, people are very smart.

“I thought I wasn’t going to hide anything, but I didn’t make it public either.” If I did make it public, especially in the ’70s and ’80s, no way.

“When I started I knew I was gay, I had a hit record and I was on the cover of Teen Beat magazine. What do I do now? I guess everything turned out fine a few years ago.’
