Four children who broke away from the marital bed in search of closeness to their parents – they were already the trigger. Due to the extremely cramped conditions, Matthias Pfützner wanted a bed in which the entire family of six could be comfortable. He couldn’t find what he was looking for, so he had to have one made. And at the same time he sensed an opportunity. That’s why he has been offering extra-wide beds under the name “Original Rima Family Bed” since 2014, and sold the first ones in his garage. Pfützner, who came to Ennstal 20 years ago from Berlin and now lives in Aigen, has already sold more than 4,000 of these family beds.
