Batman: Arkham Trilogy: The three games from Rocksteady are coming to Nintendo Switch – L’Éclaireur Fnac

Rocksteady Studios’ Batman Arkham games were released between 2009 and 2015 and left excellent memories for fans of the Dark Knight and others. Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight are preparing to arrive on Nintendo Switch in a compilation available from December 1, 2023.

On the occasion of the Nintendo Direct in June 2023, Warner Bros. Games has announced the porting of the three Batman games from Rocksteady Studios to Nintendo’s hybrid console. The compilation will bring together Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight as well as all their DLCs. It will be available on Nintendo Switch from December 1, 2023.

With more than 130 million Switches sold since 2017, Nintendo has suffered a major blow. The opportunity for the Japanese manufacturer to give a second life to most of the games released on the Wii U, a console that did not have the same success. But the formula doesn’t just work for home games, and the Nintendo Switch continues to expand its catalog with ports of the biggest hits of the last decade.

Among these successes, one cannot fail to note Rocksteady’s trilogy of Arkham games, which marked a generation with games that respected the Dark Knight’s universe. Batman: Arkham Trilogy will therefore be an opportunity to discover or rediscover the saga, with the exception of Batman: Arkham Origins, the prequel episode that Rocksteady did not take care of and which did not leave an excellent memory. Behind these ports is the American studio Turn Me Up, which recently took care of the Switch port of the wonderful It Takes Two.

Important clarification regarding the physical version: The cartridge only contains the first work, Batman: Arkham Asylum. You therefore need an internet connection to download the other two games and all DLCs.
