MC Guimê, 30, is one of the confirmed in the BBB 23 box. The singer was born and raised in Osasco (SP).
Who is MC Guime?
Guilherme Aparecido Dantas is known for his flashy funk, a genre that deals with consumption and valuables. The first hits of his career were released in 2011: the songs “Tá Patrão” and “Plaquê de 100”.
He is in a relationship with singer Lexa and has the artist’s face tattooed on his leg. The two split in October and got back together in December last year.
The two have been together for seven years. They started dating in 2016 and got married in 2018. She already suspects that the flirtation on Globo started when the two sang “Encontro” together on stage. The two announced their split in October last year and got back together two months later.
MC Guime took part in the 2nd season of The Masked Singer with the costume of Lampião, duo with Maria Bonita (Lexa).

Guimê was arrested in 2019 for possession of marijuana for personal use in São Paulo. At the time, he was accompanied by two friends and signed an extensive prison sentence, only to be released afterwards. Previously, in 2016, he was taken to the police station in the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area for the same reason.
The singer was ordered to pay R$10,000 to a fan who was attacked by his security guard while trying to take a picture with the singer at a concert in 2014. At the time, Guimê argued that the security guard was not employed by him.
Strategy for the BBB
The singer said he prefers conversation and always thinks of the good of the collective. He guarantees that he is “a competitive person who is focused on his goals”.
After accepting the invitation, which he describes as “one of the biggest follies of his life lately,” the artist admits he was scared but accepted the challenge because he was a fan of the program.
When I have challenges, I put them in my mind and heart, and I will do that until I succeed. I can change strategy and viewpoint, but when I have a goal to achieve, I pursue it until I achieve it.
