After being eliminated in the fourth paredão of BBB 23 (Globo), Paula was greeted at Estúdios Globo by a fan with a cactus, in reference to the fans of Juliette, winner of BBB 21.
During Jogo da Discord, in the first week of the issue, the biomedical doctor explained that the eliminated Marília wanted to be like Juliette in the game.
Vinicius Barroso:“I gave her the cactus. Now she doesn’t mess with the cactus anymore. Take it as a joke, woman, but you messed with the cactus. Wow, Paula!”
Laughing, she replied: “What hatred.”
When asked who is cheering for winning the BBB 23, she says her fans go to Ricardo, Aline and Sarah. Elsewhere, fans point out that she didn’t name Juliette out of spite, and she explained:
Paula. “No, I wanted to poke Marília, not Ju”.
Paula also took part in the BatePapo BBB (Globoplay) and explained why she compared the first Marília eliminated from the program to Juliette Freire.
“I didn’t compare it to make Juliette smaller, I compared it to make it bigger because Juliette was only one and she wanted to be Juliette. Such a phenomenon in just 10 years. It shouldn’t belittle Ju, it should be for Poke Marília,” he explained.
