The film has not only gained traction across all Hindi sectors but has also achieved impressive success in Telugu and Tamil languages. The nationwide advance booking in Hindi was estimated at around Rs 587 crore with a total of 176,192 tickets booked for 5570 shows.

Currently, the film boasts of an all-India box office collection of Rs 6.42 crore, setting the stage for an impressive debut on Friday. According to reports, a total of more than 200,000 tickets have been sold so far.

According to sacnilk.com, the film has acquired a sizeable collection in the state of Maharashtra. The film fetched a total advance of Rs 92.08 lakh and Rs 1.2 crore, taking into account the blocked slots. It is followed by Karnataka with an income of Rs 60.91 lakh and an estimated Rs 75.51 lakh including blocked seats.
Uttar Pradesh also reported good business in the north. The state recorded promising numbers with advance booking of Rs 28.84 lakh and an estimated Rs 46.21 lakh from blocked seats.
Ahead of the release, Ranbir has been busy promoting his action thriller across all platforms. The star even flew south to ensure the film reached a wide audience. During the promotional event, Ranbir explained why director Vanga named his film Animal.
Ranbir stated, “Once you see the film, you will understand.”

He elaborated, “I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga named this film Animal is because animals behave out of instinct. He doesn’t think he behaves on instinct, he’s impulsive, and I think that’s where the title Animal came from, and once you see the film you realize that this film fits that title.”
The film, which received an A certificate from the CBFC, also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
