Singer Bebe Rexha was hit in the face by a phone during a concert in New York City on Sunday after someone fired the projectile at her at the event.
The 33-year-old singer/songwriter played a concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Sunday as part of her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour.
As seen in a Twitter video, the Brooklyn native was playing their set on stage when the phone hit him square in the face.
The video was shared by several attendees of Sunday’s concert in the Big Apple as one under cover @RossBernaud posted a video of the entertainerwhose full name is Bleta Rexha, is helped off the stage after the injury incident.
“This is Bebe Rexha being hustled out of the concert hall here in NYC after someone threw a frigging phone and slapped her in the face as she was leaving the stage,” the Twitter user captioned the clip. “We all had a blast and so did Bebe, we all had a blast I mean who would even do that??? ‘Hope you’re doing well @BebeRexha.’

A tweet from the Account Pop Base Read: “Bebe Rexha’s Mom Reveals She Had Three Stitches After Someone in the Audience threw a phone at her head during her concert.”
It wasn’t immediately clear if and for how long the frightening incident and resulting injury would keep Rexha out of action during her tour.
She has three dates scheduled this week, including a June 20 appointment at The Fillmore in Philadelphia; June 21 at the Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland; and June 23 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta.
