Bebe Rexha was rushed to hospital on Sunday night after a bystander threw a mobile phone in her face.
The singer was performing at Pier 17’s Rooftop when a phone hit her in the side of the face. The stunned singer cupped her face in her hands before falling to her knees.
New York City Police Department released a statement Monday showing Bebe, 33, was hospitalized and one man arrested following the incident.
“On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., police received a report of an attack on the Pier 17 concert venue at 89 South Street on the 1st Precinct lot,” the statement begins.
“A preliminary investigation at the scene revealed that a 27-year-old man intentionally threw a mobile phone at the singer, punching her in the face. The person was arrested on the spot and taken to the post of the 1st arrondissement. The artist was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Bebe Rexha was sewn with three stitches, her mother Bukurije Rexha told various media.
The star performed as part of her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour. She is then expected in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday.
