Sabrina Carpenter believes that she had a hard time at school because she wanted to be a singer from an early age.
A feeling of exclusion that only subsided when the Riley's World star was able to leave school to study at home.
“It's a little ironic, but I was bullied at school because I sang,” the actress and singer said during a discussion with Maya Hawke for Interview Magazine.
“I had big dreams as a kid, and it worked for me.”
“I did well at school, but to be honest, I started homeschooling at a very young age,” Nonsense’s interpreter continued.
“It may sound dramatic, but I felt more confident learning this way.” I was in an online school and started working quite early, which allowed me to get out of those little toxic circles that you sometimes even have not noticed when you're young. And I’m grateful.”

Known for her role in the Disney Channel series “Finding Riley” (2014-2017), Sabrina Carpenter made her musical debut shortly afterwards with her first EP entitled “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”.
Since then, she has been juggling film roles and musical successes, which was confirmed last year when she was chosen by Taylor Swift to perform the first parts of his Eras tour in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
