Fiorentina player Cristiano Biraghi was injured in the head by a cup thrown by a supporter during Wednesday’s Europa League Conference final against West Ham in Prague.
The game, which the English club won 2-1, was interrupted for long minutes after about half an hour. The Italy defender was setting up a corner kick when the plastic object hit him in the back of the head.
The athlete was bleeding profusely, but was treated right on the field and the game resumed after the stadium was called to rest.

There were also several tense moments between fans of both teams throughout the day in the Czech city. Three people were also slightly injured in a fight at a bar in the community. The Czech police announced that they arrested 16 people.
