Another movie arrives on Netflix with little fanfare and takes the TOP 10 by storm, taking the number one spot among the most watched streaming titles. Even without disclosure, the Spanish thriller ‘God’s crooked lines‘ has become a ratings phenomenon and is Netflix’s mostwatched film in over 20 countries.
The production drew attention for sharing the same screenwriter and director of the great ‘during the storm🇧🇷 Oriole Pauloand fully satisfied subscribers with its plot full of unexpected twists.
Based on the novel of the same name Torcuato Luca de Tenathe film follows the mission of Alice Gould (Barbara Lenny), a private investigator who pretends to be riddled with paranoia to check into a mental hospital to solve a patient’s mysterious death.
As he delves into the patients’ routine, Gould attempts to determine who is harmless or a threat within the facility while witnessing strange and macabre events.
From there, the investigation takes new directions, forcing her to rely on her instincts more than ever due to the unpredictable behavior of everyone she meets along the way.
