Beyoncé comes unexpectedly to the premiere of “Renaissance in Salvador

Beyoncé is in Brazil! Ten years after her last visit to the country with The Mrs. Carter Show in 2013, “Queen B” arrived in Salvador on Thursday evening (December 21). The singer made a surprise appearance to attend Club Renaissance, a party held at the Salvador Convention Center to celebrate the release of the Renaissance tour film.

The information was confirmed by the Salvadoran Municipal Civil Guard, which reported on Instagram that it accompanied the singer on the way from the airport to the venue. Shortly before, Beyoncé published a story with a photo of the Renaissance horse symbol exiting a jet.


The singer arrived in Brazil for the launch of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” which features the show from the singer's final tour as well as a behindthescenes look at the performances. The film premiered in Brazilian cinemas this Thursday. A select group of fans will take part in the special party in Salvador.

Salvador's choice may be related to its strong relationship with the black movement the capital of Bahia is the city with the largest black population outside of the African continent. Beyoncé's arrival in Brazil became the most discussed topic on social media this Thursday evening. The journey began around 7 p.m. when a Bombardier Global 7500 model jet, just like the singer's, took off from New Jersey in the United States towards the capital Bahia. The trip was followed by more than 2,000 people on a flight monitoring platform.
