Beyoncé surprised and delighted her fans Monday night when she released her latest single, “Break My Soul,” hours ahead of its originally expected release.
The 40-year-old hitmaker dropped the song — which is saturated with danceable beats — not long after 10 p.m. ET, though he promised it wouldn’t drop until midnight.
“Break My Soul” is the lead single from the former Destiny’s Child singer’s forthcoming seventh studio album titled Renaissance.
