PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST
I have been a professional journalist since 2017, writing about news and current economic policy events. I have always been interested in social issues and sports. Since I have a passion for music, I have had various experiences on the radio. After completing my master’s degree in journalism in Turin, I spent years traveling back and forth to Palermo, where I was born and initially returned.
Flavio Briatore appears on television again in Bianca Berlinguer’s new show and amazes with his visibly slim physique. The presenter, who makes her debut on Rete4 with the first episode of “È semper Cartabianca”, seems concerned about the appearance of the entrepreneur, who reassures the journalist when asked about his health: “I do intermittent fasting, 16 hours a day without eating,” Briatore explains.

“I’ve been following this line for a year, In one year I lost 18 kilos. I’m doing well? I’m here…” the Piedmontese manager says to the moderator. Briatore intervened in Bianca Berlinguer’s new show and expressed his opinion on various current political and economic issues: “I continue to think that Giorgia Meloni is a champion. Our Prime Minister’s reputation abroad is very high. I think he is the prime minister who has achieved the greatest consensus abroad, even more than Draghi.”
“It is difficult to manage this country,” said Briatore, “the government has been there for eight months.” Until we have a presidential republic where the elections are won, the orders are given and decisions are made, we will always be under fire of the enemy,” he adds. “In our sector – between gastronomy and tourism – wages have risen and the end product has become more expensive. Companies’ profits have fallen because the costs borne by companies have not fallen. The minimum wage? “It could be a good thing,” but “I don’t think anything will change.”

The controversy
In July The entrepreneur was at the center of a controversy for some statements, pronounced in an episode of the journalist’s previous program Rai 3, about the usefulness for young people to go to work straight after school instead of continuing their studies. Briatore’s example of the carpenters’ children had sparked the controversy, but when Bianca Berlinguer was a guest again, the manager returned to the concept: “Most children who leave university start working at 26 to 27, when you start at 20.” You have 6-7 years of benefits. The university is a platform for the unemployed: 15% find work, the other 85% don’t.”
“The real problem – claims Briatore – is that people don’t want to work. We receive 100-200 resumes, and during interviews we ask how many days off there are. He says he’s not interested in work, but in leisure time. You don’t want to work on Saturdays and Sundays. This problem particularly affects Italy. I invite you to come to our office for our interviews… I’ll say it and repeat it: Today’s children don’t have the desire to work that my generation did“.

Berlinguer’s debut on Rete 4
Flavio Briatore was among the guests of the first episode of the new show by Bianca Berlinguer, which made its debut on Mediaset and Rete 4 on Tuesday evening, September 5, after a career at Rai.
“Maybe someone will be surprised to find me on this channel and I’m a little surprised too“, said the presenter at the opening of the show.
“Mediaset guaranteed the best conditions to be able to continue what we have achieved in recent years on Rai3 – said Berlinguer – Rai will forever remain in my heart, with all the people who have shown that they love me and still love me. With Mediaset we thought we were starting a new adventure, everything changes: we also felt the desire to have a new experience. It’s always us, with our ideas, our passions and our curiosity.”
