President Biden insisted he felt “great” after crashing his bike in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware over the long weekend.
“I feel great. I feel great. What happened, do any of you ride a bike? Well, they have some that have this thing that you stick your toe in – holds your foot so it doesn’t slip out. I got off the bike and it got stuck on the right side,” the president told reporters Monday.
“I’m fine,” he insisted.
“I fell, in case you haven’t noticed,” he whispered to a reporter.
As he tried to get off his bike on Saturday, his shoes caught and he fell sideways, prompting a frenzy of Secret Service and press attempts to help him up.
Gasps rang out after the fall, with the 79-year-old Biden staying on the ground for about 10 seconds before being helped by several Secret Service agents who immediately ambushed the dejected Democrat.

Despite the fall, the president, who donned shorts and a T-shirt for the outing, appeared not to suffer any abrasions or cuts from the spill.

The President left St Edmond in downtown Rehoboth after attending Mass and reporters yelled at him asking how he was doing.

Biden didn’t yell back, but instead made three leaps forward and made jump-rope movements with his hands before waving at a crowd gathered outside and climbing into his black SUV.
He previously told the press, “I’m fine,” after falling over and taking his bike with him.
The President did not need to see a doctor after the incident, the White House said.
Speaking at the American Freedom Tour in Memphis, Tennessee, former President Trump addressed the fall to a crowd of supporters and said he wished Biden well.
“We hope Biden is okay because that was a hard fall, that was scary,” he said. “I swear to you today – I will never ride a bike.”
On Monday, Biden’s daughter Ashley and granddaughter Natalie tried to drag the president away from reporters on Monday after he began chattering to the press while walking on the beach in Rehoboth.
“No, like no more — no more questions,” Ashley Biden said in a singsong voice behind her father, raising her hands.
But then Biden was asked about the upcoming G7 meeting and couldn’t resist responding to his agenda there.

When asked if he would visit Ukraine during his trip to Europe for the G7 and NATO summits, he said it was not likely.
