(ANSA) — WASHINGTON, May 28 — Joe Biden said he was certain last night’s debt ceiling agreement with Republicans would be passed in Congress and was on his desk for signature. Speaking to reporters following the White House after his return from Camp David, the President also announced a 2 p.m. (8 p.m. Italy) phone call with Kevin McCarthy. When asked if the deal had any open ends, Biden replied, “None.” (HAND).
