247 US President Joe Biden said this Monday (23rd) in Tokyo that the US was ready to respond militarily and defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, reports Sputnik.

“We approved and signed the One China Policy. But the idea that Taiwan can be taken by force just isn’t appropriate,” the White House resident said at a news conference, RT reports.
