Biden and Lula’s advisors in Argentina are supposed to help Massa and “get rid of” Patricia Bullrich.
Those who appear to be most worried about the possibility of a Milei government leading in all polls are the President of Brazil, Lula, and the President of the United States, Biden. To avoid this possibility, they sent their political advisers to work with the campaign of Massa, the candidate of Cristina Kirchner and Peronism, which was second in the polls less than a month before the first round of presidential elections. Lula sent his Workers’ Party advisory team to Buenos Aires, which recommended not clashing with Milei until a possible runoff election.
So the goal is to take third place in the polls Patricia Bullrich, a center-right who promotes his policies to combat corruption and drug trafficking. Also in Argentina to help Massa Jessica Reis And Robert Gibbswho are part of the team led by Dan Restrepo, Obama’s former national security adviser and the intellectual and political leader of a number of Colombian officials who rose to positions of great importance in the State Department under Biden, including Juan Sebastian Gonzalez.
