According to the daily newspaper, this highly anticipated text from special investigator Robert Hur will be published in the coming days.
Mr. Hur was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland last year after classified “top secret” documents dating to Mr. Biden’s time as vice president were found in 2022 at the Democrat’s Delaware residence and in one of his former offices.
Former President Donald Trump, the right-wing favorite in the Republican primary who was slated to face Mr. Biden in the Nov. 5 presidential election, is the target of a criminal case over negligent management of confidential documents.
Mr Trump, 77, has pleaded not guilty. He was federally indicted by another special counsel, Jack Smith, and accused of endangering national security by, among other things, storing nuclear documents after he left the White House.
The Republican kept these papers – including Pentagon and CIA files – at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. Some were seen sprawled on the ground, the indictment says.
Regarding the Democratic president, the White House pleaded for “mistakes” and spoke of documents being “accidentally” taken away.
According to the Washington Post, there are clear differences between the two polls.
According to the daily, the number of documents involved in the Biden case is less than 20, while for Mr Trump there are around 300.
