Bidens approval rating falls but his vice presidents is even

Most Americans disapprove of both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to the latest data from multiple studies.

A poll released this Friday by the Trafalgar Group shows that just 28% of respondents approve of the vice president’s performance, while 57% said they “strongly disapprove” her management.

Similarly, President Biden has also seen his approval ratings drop. The results of the same study show that 5.4% of respondents simply “disapprove” him, while almost 10 times more said they “strongly” disapprove of his performance.

Likewise, fewer than four in 10 respondents approve of Biden’s performance, though 20.2% say they “strongly support” it. Harris’ numbers were even grimmer, with only 14.8% “strong” agreement.

Harris’ precipitous decline is indicated by an outlying poll by FiveThirtyEight’s approval tracker, which uses a weighted average of multiple polls. According to her study, Harris has seen her approval ratings fall sharply, with an updated average of 32% as of April 21, compared to 58% who don’t think they’re favorable.

criticism of the administration

Many Americans have lost faith in the Biden administration due to rising inflation and soaring gas prices, despite the president’s efforts to blame Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine for the country’s financial woes.

For her part, Harris has been accused by critics of a major failure in the tasks entrusted to her within the government, such as controlling the flow of illegal immigrants across the country’s southern border.

According to a court report filed this Friday by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), 221,303 border arrests were reported in March, setting a new record and surpassing the previous peak set in July 2021.
